Stockholm Marathon
The Stockholm Marathon is an urban marathon that attracts runners from all over the world with its beautiful scenery, historical buildings, and a course that combines rich nature. Held annually in early June, it is a magnificent 42.195km journey that circles the beautiful islands and bridges of Stockholm. The start in front of the City Hall is picturesque, and the cobblestones of the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and the lush green scenery of Djurgården island are challenging, but the warm cheers of the spectators filling the roadside give the runners a powerful push.
