The Madrid Marathon is an emotional experience of 42.195km where history and passion intersect! Starting in the city center, you will visit famous sites such as the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Cuatro Torres.
You will run through the Salamanca district and Puerta del Sol, before heading to Casa de Campo Park and Almudena Cathedral. In the second half, you will visit museums and palaces, and finish on Paseo de Recoletos! You will create unforgettable memories amid the enthusiastic cheers from the sidelines and beautiful scenery.
The Madrid Marathon is a world-famous marathon that runs through the historical buildings and beautiful cityscape of Madrid, the capital of Spain. Runners can feel the charm of Madrid with their whole body while receiving enthusiastic cheers from the roadside.
・Starting point::he race starts at Gregorio Marañon Square in the center of Madrid. In the fresh morning air, many runners start running toward their own goals.
️・1.5km:Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is a prestigious stadium known to all soccer fans. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the stadium as you run up a gentle uphill slope.
・4km:Cuatro Torres are four skyscrapers that symbolize Madrid’s skyscrapers. Their impressive appearance overwhelms runners.
・8km:Complejo Asca is the economic and financial center of Madrid. You can experience the urban atmosphere with a group of skyscrapers like New York.
・15km:Salamanca district, lined with luxury boutiques and beautiful buildings. You can run while enjoying the sophisticated cityscape.
・19km:Arrive at Plaza Callao, one of Madrid’s main squares. Experience the bustling, lively atmosphere.
・20km:Puerta del Sol, which means “Gate of the Sun,” is a symbolic square of Madrid. Surrounded by many historical buildings, it is a popular spot for tourists.
・21km:La Plaza de la Villa,A square with beautiful 17th century architecture. A quaint place that gives a sense of Madrid’s history.
・22km: The magnificent Royal Palace and the lively Plaza de España attract visitors.
・From 30km:Casa de Campo is a vast green park where you can run in beautiful nature. There is also an amusement park within the park, and it is crowded with people cheering on the runners.
