Course overview

・Start point:Start at Headingley Stadium, where the enthusiasm and excitement of runners swirls! From St. Michael’s Lane, head into the city!

・Woodhouse Moor Park:Run through the edge of the lush Woodhouse Moor Park and head to Hyde Park Road. This section allows you to refresh both your body and mind in beautiful nature.

・Headingley Lane:A thrilling section that runs from the double-track road of Headingley Lane through Cavendish Road, Hillary Place, and Blenheim Terrace in a triangle shape. Increase your running pace while enjoying the bustle of the city.

・Ecup Lane:From Lawnswood to Ecup Lane. This section, which has several hills, is a challenge but also a chance to see spectacular views! ️・Arthington Park: Cross Bramhope and go round trip along the lush green road to the edge of Arthington Park. While soothing yourself in the beauty of nature, you can save your energy for the second half of the race.

・Wharfedale:Run west from Arthington and you will see the Wharfedale pool. Gazing at the beautiful scenery, you can muster your final strength.

・Finish point:Headingley Stadium

Elevation difference and temperature

・Elevation difference:There are moderate ups and downs throughout the course. There are hills to cross, especially around Ecup Lane and Otley.

・Temperature:Leeds’ weather is known to be changeable.Check the weather forecast in advance to find out the temperature on the day of the marathon, and take appropriate clothing and precautions.
