Starting in the downtown area near Minute Maid Park, runners run through beautiful cityscapes such as Houston Heights and Neartown. They pass Hermann Park and Rice University and head uptown. They pass through Memorial Park and Allen Parkway before finishing at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown.

・Starting Point:The start is located on Congress Avenue in Fannin, just a few blocks from the George R. Brown Convention Center.
・Course Highlights:Starting downtown, you will run through major areas of Houston, including Washington Corridor, The Heights, Montrose, Upper Kirby, The Museum District, West University, The Galleria, and Memorial. Enjoy the beautiful cityscapes and landmarks of each area as you run the 42.195km course.
・Finishing Point:The finish is at the intersection of Lamar Street and Crawford Street, one block above the George R. Brown Convention Center.
・Elevation Difference:The course is mostly flat, with a maximum elevation of 25.6 meters and a minimum elevation of 7 meters. The course is easy for beginner runners to run on, as there is little elevation change, and it is also a great course for runners aiming to improve their personal best.
・Temperature:Houston has a relatively cool climate in January, with an average temperature of around 10°C. You can enjoy running comfortably in temperatures suitable for a marathon.
