The Hong Kong Marathon is a historic event that began in 1997.
Starting at Nathan Road in the heart of Hong Kong, the course is varied and includes highways, the famous cable-stayed Ting Kwa Bridge, and an undersea tunnel.
Featuring the full marathon, half marathon, and 10km events, it is one of Asia’s largest events, with over 70,000 participants from all over the world.

The Hong Kong Marathon is a world-famous marathon where you can run through the vibrant streets of Hong Kong and enjoy the beautiful nature.
・Starting point: The starting point where the excitement of the runners gathers is Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong’s most bustling shopping district. The race starts on Nathan Road near Hotel Mira and heads north along the Kowloon Peninsula.
・Highlights of the course:A variety of spectacular views! After running through the bustle of Nathan Road and feeling the vitality of Hong Kong, you can enjoy an exhilarating run while looking at the majestic scenery of the West Kowloon Expressway and Tsing Ma Bridge.
You can enjoy the spectacular views while crossing unique tunnels such as the Nan Wan Tunnel and the Chang Ching Tunnel, and beautiful bridges such as the Stonecutters Bridge and the Ting Kau Bridge!
・Finishing point:The finish is in the lush Victoria Park in the center of Hong Kong Island.Runners will receive a grand celebration while feeling a sense of accomplishment and excitement.
・Elevation:There are moderate ups and downs throughout the course, making it a challenging run. The highest point is about 80m near Ting Kau Bridge.
・Temperature:Hong Kong is relatively warm from late January to early February, with an average temperature of around 15℃. It’s the perfect climate for a marathon.
