・Starting Point:The Brighton Marathon starts at Hove Lawns. This beautiful park with its spacious lawns is where many runners gather, building up their excitement for the race. With the sea at their back, the 42.195 km journey finally begins in a lively atmosphere.
・5km to 10km:Brighton Palace Pier comes into view. Run while looking at the majestic pier and feeling the sea breeze.
・10km to 15km:Pass the Royal Pavilion. You will be captivated by its beautiful Indian-style exterior.
・15km to 20km:Run along Brighton’s seafront. The blue sky, white sand, and colorful beach huts are an impressive sight.
・20km to 25km:Climb the hills known as the Seven Sisters. It’s an undulating course, but the view of the city from the top is spectacular.
・25km to 30km:Descend the Seven Sisters and return to a flat course.
・30km to 42.195km:Summon your final strength as you head for the finish at Hove Lawns. Aim for the finish line while receiving cheers from the sidelines.
・Finish line:The finish is at Hove Lawns, the same place as the start. The moment you break the finish line, you’ll be filled with a sense of accomplishment and emotion. A large number of spectators will gather along the road to give a grand celebration to the runners.
The Brighton Marathon course is generally flat, but there are slight ups and downs, such as the Seven Sisters.
The temperature will vary depending on the time of the event ([Event period]), but the weather in the UK is changeable, so be sure to be fully prepared, including wearing warm clothes.
