Sevilla Marathon

Overview

The Sevilla Marathon is a marathon race held in Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia, Spain.

The course is one of the flattest in Europe, passing through the city’s most iconic sites such as Plaza de España, Golden Tower, La Giralda, Maria Luisa Park and La Maestranza.

The weather in the city in late February, the beautiful trails that lead back to the historic and touristy areas make it a perfect place to have a great time.

Andalusia is located in the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula in Spain and is blessed with a warm climate.

Its capital, Sevilla, is famous as the birthplace of flamenco, and was the setting for “Carmen.” In addition, the colorful culture that has been nurtured in the long history that has passed through the ancient Roman era, the Islamic era, and the subsequent Reconquista is still alive.

Course

The Sevilla Marathon is known for its flat course, making it one of the fastest in Europe. The course takes runners through the historic city center of Seville, passing iconic landmarks like:
