Overview

The Oslo Marathon is a marathon event held every year in Oslo, the capital of Norway. The first competition was held in 1981, and has been held every year since then in late September or early October.

The course starts from Oslo’s city center square in front of City Hall, runs through the city and along the coast, and returns to the starting point in front of City Hall and finishes. A full marathon consists of two laps around the half marathon course.

The Oslo Marathon is one of Norway’s most popular running events.

Oslo is a port city on the Oslo Fjord. The city center is dotted with lush parks and gardens, where you can enjoy a landscape that harmonizes nature and the city.

It is also home to some of the world’s leading art galleries and museums, such as the Rijksmuseum and the Munch Museum.
